Google's Gemini API provides access to the Gemini family of multimodal models. AGNT has evaluated Gemini 2.5 Pro as a potential fallback provider for vision-heavy workloads when Anthropic rate limits are reached.
The planned integration would add Gemini as a secondary routing target in the llm_gateway, activated during Anthropic outages or for specific workloads where Gemini's multimodal strengths complement Claude's.
How it works
When live, the llm_gateway will route overflow or failover traffic to Gemini models via the Google AI SDK.
