How AGNT Works: Your AI Agent in 3 Steps
AGNT gives you a personal AI agent on WhatsApp. Ask for a restaurant, get a booking in under 3 seconds. Here's exactly how it works.
You send a message. You get a booking. The whole thing takes under 3 seconds.
That is the short version. Here is the full picture: what happens in between, who handles it, and why it works anywhere in the world, not just Bali.
You open WhatsApp or Telegram and type what you want in plain language. No app to download. No form to fill. No search filters to wrestle with.
"I want a romantic dinner for two in Canggu tonight, budget around 500k."
Andy — AGNT's primary user-facing agent — reads that sentence and identifies your intent in under 200 milliseconds. He recognises 35 intent patterns: date-night requests, quick-lunch needs, sunset-drinks searches, healthy-food queries, late-night bar hunts, coworking cafe searches, and more.
You do not need to use exact keywords. Andy understands "somewhere quiet with good pasta near the beach" just as well as "Italian restaurant Seminyak." He reads context, not commands.
If Andy needs more information, he asks one question — not a form. "What time?" or "How many people?" He does not fire ten clarifying questions at once.
This works in 16 languages. You can write in English, Indonesian, Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Russian, Mandarin, Korean, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Thai, or Vietnamese. Andy replies in the same language you used.
The interface is WhatsApp and Telegram because that is where you already are. No new account. No password. You message, Andy responds.
Once Andy has your intent, he queries the AGNT network — currently 134+ venues across Bali, with more added every week.
This is not a keyword search against a static database. Andy uses semantic search: he understands the meaning behind your request and matches it against what each venue actually offers. A restaurant that describes itself as "perfect for couples, candlelit, quiet garden setting" surfaces for a "romantic dinner" query even if those exact words do not appear in the search terms.
The search runs across all venues simultaneously using the Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol. Each venue on the network runs its own AI agent — Sam. When Andy sends a query, Sam agents at each qualifying venue respond with availability, pricing, and confirmation capacity in real time.
This is different from calling an API that returns a list. Andy gets live responses from live agents. If a table was just booked 10 seconds ago, that availability is already gone from what Andy sees.
Here is what Andy evaluates for each result:
- Availability: does the venue have capacity at your requested time? - Match quality: how closely does this venue fit the specific intent (date-night, quick-lunch, etc.)? - Guest history: your previous bookings and preferences, held only by you and the venues you have visited - Location: distance from where you are or where you want to be
Andy returns the top 3 matches with brief descriptions, not an overwhelming list. You pick one or ask for different options.
If you are looking for something specific — say, a restaurant that serves wagyu — Andy can narrow to venues with that specific menu item. That capability comes from the knowledge extraction Sam runs for each venue: structured facts pulled from menus, FAQs, and manager-supplied details.
For venues not yet on the AGNT network, Andy handles bookings via ClawPulse, AGNT's booking infrastructure layer. The network is growing: 5 million tourists visit Bali each year, and venue owners are joining to avoid the 15-25% commissions they currently pay to OTA platforms.
You pick a venue. Andy confirms it.
The average time from "you choose" to "booking confirmed" is 2.7 seconds.
Andy sends the booking request to the venue's Sam agent via the A2A protocol. Sam confirms availability, locks the reservation, and returns a confirmation. Andy relays that to you in WhatsApp or Telegram with:
- Venue name and address - Date, time, and party size - Booking reference number - A map link - Any relevant notes from the venue (dress code, deposit requirement, etc.)
You do not need to call anyone. No hold music. No "sorry, that time is taken, let me check something else" — Andy already confirmed availability before showing you the option.
After confirmation, Andy handles reminders automatically. You get a message a few hours before your booking. If something comes up and you need to cancel, you reply to Andy and the cancellation is handled the same way — no phone call required.
Your booking history is yours. Andy remembers what venues you have visited, so the next time you ask for a recommendation, he factors in your history.
Andy is not limited to restaurant reservations. Here is the current capability set:
Venue discovery — 35 intent patterns across restaurants, bars, cafes, coworking spaces, wellness venues, and experiences. Semantic search across 134+ venues on the network.
Direct bookings — Tables, appointments, experiences. Confirmed in 2.7 seconds on average via the A2A protocol.
Dupe Search — Send Andy a photo of a product you found somewhere (a bag, a piece of jewellery, a dish) and he searches the network for the same item or close alternatives. Useful for tracking down something you saw on Instagram.
Calorie Scan — Send a photo of food on your plate. Andy identifies the meal and returns a nutrition estimate. No manual logging.
Transport — Andy books Uber, Grab, GoJek, or Lalamove rides and deliveries from within the same chat. You do not switch apps.
Social — Andy creates agent cards (a structured profile of your preferences and history) and surfaces venues that match your taste based on what people with similar histories have enjoyed.
All of this runs in one WhatsApp or Telegram thread. No switching between apps. No managing multiple accounts.
If you run a restaurant, bar, cafe, or hospitality venue, AGNT gives you Sam — a venue-side AI agent that handles incoming requests, manages availability, and communicates with guests.
Sam is the agent your guests never see directly. He sits behind the scenes and responds to Andy's queries on your behalf.
What Sam does:
- Accepts and confirms bookings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - Responds in 16 languages without you hiring multilingual staff - Extracts knowledge from your menus, FAQs, and notes to build a structured understanding of your venue - Handles cancellations and reminders automatically - Feeds your venue data into the semantic search index so the right guests find you
You give Sam information about your venue — opening hours, menu, policies, special events — and he manages incoming queries from there. Updates take effect immediately. You do not wait for a platform to re-index your listing.
Sam means you own your guest data. When someone books through AGNT, the relationship is between you and the guest — not between you, the guest, and a platform that keeps the data and the remarketing rights.
Pricing details are at /pricing. Full venue onboarding guide at /for-businesses.
AGNT works on WhatsApp and Telegram. You do not need an account on a new platform.
Send your first message to Andy at agntdot.com/start.
If you are a venue owner and want to add Sam to your operation, visit /for-businesses.
AGNT launched in Bali and is expanding globally. The same system — the same Andy, the same A2A protocol, the same 2.7-second confirmation — works for any venue market in the world. If you are outside Bali, check the network for your region or register your venue to be among the first in your city.
If you build on top of AGNT — integrations, white-label deployments, or custom agent workflows — the technical documentation is at /developers.
